Claudia Tammen

Living in an environment where there is direct access to natural beauty has always been a priority for her. She is been especially inspired by the ocean and desert. In these places she has found rhythm, breathing space and a source of endless light, color and spirit.

Her creative life has moved through the realms of teaching, graphic arts and design, art therapy and school psychology. She holds a B.F.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara, an M.A. in Art Therapy from University of Illinois, Chicago, and hold California School Counseling and Psychologist Credentials

Her work explores both inner and outer landscapes (and still life) and she enjoy digital photography, watercolor painting, pastels and collage. She has another book Ghost Ranch, Vistas & Visions which is available at the Trading Post at Ghost Ranch.
